The u3a is open to anyone who is retired or semi-retired. There are no age limits and we welcome men and women, couples and singles. We are non-political and non-religious. The u3a welcomes everyone, is non-discriminatory, and we will always do our best to ensure we meet people’s individual needs as far as is practicable. The main activities of the u3a are meetings (either face-to-face or online) and members are expected to be able to look after themselves during meetings, or to be accompanied by someone to assist them, if necessary.

ICE - IMPORTANT INFORMATION
WHO TO CONTACT IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
'ICE' is a standard for In Case of Emergency ~ a procedure paramedics follow at the scene of an accident when they come across your mobile phone. We may carry mobile phones with names and numbers stored in its memory but only we know which numbers belong to our closest family or friends. If you store the number of a contact person(s) to be contacted in an emergency under the name 'ICE' (In Case Of Emergency), then Emergency Service personnel and hospital Staff could quickly contact the right person by simply dialing your ICE number(s). To enter more than one contact name simply enter ICE 1, ICE 2 and ICE 3 etc. A great idea that will make a difference!
